After years of hard work, the folks at Washington Global Health Alliance held a ribbon cutting last night for the opening of the Global Health Experience exhibit. The exhibit introduces global health challenges and successes to the public through four personal stories from across the globe, and focuses on malaria; maternal, newborn child health; diabetes; cancer and water and sanitation. Experience and respond to the life of a person affected by these challenges and learn about global health innovations created in Washington. The Seattle Times covers the exhibit here.
This free exhibit is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm through August 19 as part of the Next 50 celebration.
